The cosy fits a standard 8 cup cafetiere (12" circumference 7" tall).  It wraps around the entire cafetiere with a V shaped notch to accommodate the spout.

 

Its held in place with 2 big buttons on elastic loops, so even if your cafetiere isn't a standard size, this cosy will still work
